Thanks for this one. I've been playing only a few years and all I've seen are a few articles for advanced pipers on reeds. I like the way this one helps me just get started and the sound examples are a bonus. Cheers!!!

Thanks so much. As a novice piper of only a few years, finding good pipe reeds has often befuddled me. I was under the impression gut busters are best, but I'm glad I came across this. Now that I know what to look for, I don't think I should have near as much trouble picking reeds out. An extremely helpful article!
