COMMENT(S): Intensities and tents: camping on the Scottish games circuit

I can attest to all J and k have writtin here, having done the"Tinkers circuit"from the far reaches of Skye,to the pebble beaches of Brighton with stops in Oxford and London thrown in, in the back of the car ,serving as ballast, so James could retain maximum rpm while traversing the many traffic circles encountered on the M highways(he also does a fine job of dodging sheep and heelan coos at high speed on the one track back roads!)Also served as an assistant gourmet one burner cook(well I did open the wine)in the rain and Midges. My advice to anyone thinking of accompanying them on future sojourns is have your tent erection instructions written in braile, as the birthplace of the Aviemore Rant can be dark cold and wet, even in August(would you believe snow)and J and K don't seem to like to stop while it is still daylight anywhere

The pipes|drums Survey: Grading and Competitive Drivefeatured article

Don't be afraid to modify or undercut holes to improve chanter intonation. It may seem extreme, but there would scarcely be a Grade 1 band that hasn't partaken in a spot of chanter renovation to beneficial effect.
