I think PM Mathieson is right on the money with regard to the necessity of making pipe band competition more accessible to non-pipers, and to getting more interest in corporate sponsorships and such. Yes, we have a lot of tradition we don't want to lose. Keep the traditional circle format for the MSR, but open up the Medley and let's see what the creative people we have in our art form can do. What would piping be like if the general public got as excited about it as we are?
