Thanks for continuing this series, Jim. I really enjoy the combination of biographical notes and technical commentary. Nice touch adding the scores from Glen. That second ending to the 4th part in the Glen setting is very peculiar. A sort of lilting ending to what is otherwise a pretty aggressive strathspey. Not sure what the thought process was behind that choice.

Thanks, Jim. The comment on page that starts, "In fact, pipers..." explains what I had heard time and again in strathspey playing and always thought, " He really plays that doubling open." Now I know what's going on! --Joe
