COMMENT(S): Preservation society

This reviewer appears to be prejudiced towards piping traditions that exist outside of Scotland. This article contains the kind of cultural bias, wishful thinking and false assumptions he rails against. As a fan of Donaldson's work I was very disappointed by his shabby treatment of Shears' book. Having read the book, I cannot help but wonder at how much attention Donaldson gave the text before sharpening his knives if any at all.
