COMMENT(S): Killer Apps

I purchased an Apps chanter 2 weeks ago. undoubtedly the best piping purchase I have made in recent years. My experience was very similar to the reviewer. The volume is good throughout the entire scale and the high G and A clarity is excellent. The G4 reed, which I have set at a strength of 25 on the Apps "blowmeter" gave great volume and tone. I am enjoying playing more than I have in years. Unfortunately, I just left for another military deployment and could not take the pipes with me.can't wait to get back and play again.( it will be my old David Glen practice chanter for a while) Martin Docherty

Pipers: When making a taorluath or crunluath from D, slightly flex the right-hand's fingers out a bit just before the movement. This will help to lift the ring-finger for that B gracenote.
