Just received my book and mandrel today. There was a back-order due to the popularity of the book and the reed tool. I highly recommend this book as there is a treasure trove of information regarding how to fine tune your chanter through adjustments to the reed . A must read for pipers and Pipe Majors alike.

I got this excellent book from Chris when I was back at the Stone Mountain Games. It tells you everything you need to know, or thought you knew and really didn't. I think this is a must have for all pipers. -- John McDonald, Pasadena Scots

Pipers: The most important aspect of D-throws, grips, taorluaths and crunluaths is the first low-G. Concentrate on getting good depth to that and the rest will follow.
