| Andrew, "popular vote" being the two operative words here. A Canadian band 'wins' a voting contest on a Canadian website.....wow, who would have thought....? ;-) Good promo for Hoss and a classy drum corps (one corps, not multiple), but not sure it’s got a lot of credibility in its current form. Just as an aside, can you imagine the howls of protest if the 'elitist' pipers ever wanted a specific trophy for the principal instrument in a PIPE band....? Heaven forbid! Meanwhile, we have drummers pushing for more and more of it, and now these sorts of well-after-the-event polls.....to appease what? Any ‘a bit of fun’ responses thinly veil the preciousness of it all. |

| The final popular vote is after multiple votes from the same IP address were deleted. |

| Must say I'm a little puzzled as I thought that SLOT was a runaway with the popular vote online. Maybe I misred the stats? However, I respect Hoss's analysis and would agree with his overall assessment and commentary. |

| Congratulations SFU!
Very interesting comments from Hoss. I wonder if any of the bands will be miffed that the comments were posted online? Even so... I'd love to see the comments from the rest of the bands listed :-) | |
