I mean no disrespect to Mr Tidswell but he sounds as though hasn't heard much Cape Breton piping where the piano is quite commonly played along with pipes. This is probably my favorite part of the CD. Definetly an influence from his time in Nova Scotia. :) Andy TO, Canada

The reviewer nails it. This is fast becoming on of my favorite CDs, but only after getting my disappointment over the mudding-up of the pure drop by adding other instruments.

my nephew murdo macrae sent me this cd from the io skye. i let my friends in the pipe band world over here in n.i.the just love it i play it in my car all the time. it is the tops.

This recording is awesome, by far one of the greatest pipers in history along with his brothers, I hope he is working on the next one. Steve T
