| But what are all the slackers now going to use as an excuse if the 'grumpy neighbour' can't be blamed for doing no practice....???? I wonder if trumpet players use anything like this device..? ;-) Funny how a suitable practice venue and routine is rarely a problem for anyone remotely serious and dedicated. |

| The idea is simply to get more time in on the actual instrument when sound levels are an issue, like in an apartment, etc. It's just another tool to be able to play more. |

| Why in the world would anyone want to muffle the sound (unless, of course, it's coming from an badly-tuned or badly-blown pipe)? Sorry....I just think this is one "innovation" that the piping world could do without. If you want a quiet bagpipe, get a set of smallpipes or shuttle pipes! |
