Gerry says more in a few words than others do in a few pages. BTW he's a **** of a drummer too. Eoin McMahon

Bulgarian!!!! Hilarious. It's Gerry, not Jerry, show some respect. So open minded it can't be measured. The best, HOSSMAN

Gerry Q has always been a friendly, easy-going fellow and a person where conversation was always easy. That's clear in this talk. Someone once said to me that opinions are like navels: everyone's got one and they're all ugly. Not really sure if that's true but in Gerry's last installment here I wish I hadn't read it. Where once I imagined a person of open-mindedness I see, well, not so much. I only wish he had hung out in competitive pipe bands longer. Anyway, should I be lucky enough to hang around as long as GQ maybe the same will be said of me.

When teaching solo drumming, patience is a necessity. Enforce the basics. Don't rush the student into playing rudiments/tunes too difficult for them.
