Having looked at their roster only a week ago my conclusion was... if they could only get a full drum corp...how many times has this happened in Gr2?

Grade II is a tough place. Losing players up is a challenge. But in my mind, most of Grade I should be Grade II and much of grade II should be Grade III and so on. This is especially apparent when you look at how hard it is for most grade I's to crack the top 10 at the worlds. Step down and re-align the standard.

Its a darn shame - but not a surprising reality in the real of Gr2 bands right now. With Grade 1 organizations playing 18+ pipers, 5+ tenors and 10+ sides, there is a vacuum sucking every resource with Gr1 (or as close as possible) caliber, so the unfortunate reality is it appears we're watching what was once "Grade 2" in its slow and painful death throes. I just don't see how this situation can be salvaged in the current Gr1 climate.

Pipers: When making a taorluath or crunluath from D, slightly flex the right-hand's fingers out a bit just before the movement. This will help to lift the ring-finger for that B gracenote.
