Manawatu tips Canterbury at Square Day competition

Palmerston North, New Zealand – December 12, 2009 – The Grade 1 Manawatu Scottish Pipe Band won its ninth consecutive Palmerston North Square Day Competition, edging Canetrbury Caledonian by one point to gain the overall prize. Manawatu won the MSR event and was second in the Medley contest. There was no Grade 2 competition.
