2012 Livingstone invitational solo bagpipe competition. A prestige recital-style event presented by pipes|drums online piping publication.
Since 1977 the event has provided the stage for virtuoso musicianship by some of the best solo pipers in the world. This year’s edition moves from the traditional May date to Saturday, October 6, 2012. The Hamilton Club located at James and Main Streets in Hamilton plays host to “The Livingstone, presented by pipes|drums”.
The evening starts with a 6:30 pm semi-formal, Highland Dress preferred reception (hors d'oeuvres served, full cash bar), with the performances following at 8:00 pm.Link to Website | Link to Email
