HD video: 78th Fraser Highlanders take Grade 1 at Kincardine

PPBSOlogoKincardine, Ontario – July 4, 2015 – The annual Kincardine Scottish Festival attracted its customary large crowd with its typically perfect weather on the shores of Lake Huron. The 78th Fraser Highlanders emerged victorious in the three-band Grade 1 medley competition. Despite the national holiday in the USA, Grade 2 benefited from two American bands making the trip, with Great Lakes and Greater Midwest competing. The George Watson’s College Juvenile Pipe Band made  of Edinburgh their third trip to Kincardine in the last six years and won the Grade 3 event. The band received a warm ovation from the crowd for the commitment they have shown by travelling so far to compete in Ontario.
