MacColl, Beaumont on top at Inveraray Games

Inveraray, Scotland – July 21, 2015 – Although every first prize went to a different piper, Angus MacColl of Benderloch, Scotland, and Callum Beaumont of Bo’ness, Scotland, had the most overall success at the annual Inveraray Highland Games, probably the biggest solo piping event of the year apart of the major gatherings at Inverness and Oban. In B-Grade Piobaireachd Final, adjudicator Murray Henderson recused himself from judging a pupil, a policy to which the event worked to adhere. Close to 25 competed in the A-Grade events, and there were 35 in the B-Grade and 17 in the C-Grade.
