Toronto Police win Cambridge; Ontario season gets another shake-up (HD videos)

Cambridge, Ontario – July 16, 2011 – The Toronto Police Pipe Band won its first Grade 1 competition since the mid-2000s by taking the medley contest at the annual Cambridge Highland Games. It was the first win since the mid-2000s for the band. Ian K. MacDonald enjoyed a fine day in the Professional solo piping, with three firsts and a second. 1. I’ve noticed that kind ensemble command from Drew in the past. He single handedly put the band into the Worlds final the last two times they’ve qualified. A MONSTER player…..all you young guys out there….pay attention.

  2. Have to say it was a pleasure to hear Metro Police return to what I consider a natural” idiom yet retain their own stamp of originality and performed with joy. I still have issues with the mid-section but a solid win! Congrats. G”
