The annual Fort invitational solo piping competition will be held on 20th February at the Fort Bar Dungannon. As always a wealth of piping talent will be on show featuring some of Ireland and Scotland's finest solo pipers. Competitors will be expected to play a March, Strathspey & Reel selection followed by a Hornpipe and Jig selection The judges for the competition this year are Ian Jess and David Caldwell, both these men dominated the solo piping scene for many years winning such accolades as Piper of the Year and the All-Ireland solo championships
