Search on for new Phoenix Honda-Glasgow Skye leadership after resignation of Campbells

The Grade 2 Phoenix Honda-Glasgow Skye Pipe Band of Glasgow has commenced its search for new leadership after the resignation of Pipe-Major Craig Campbell and his brother, Pipe-Sergeant Iain Campbell. The Campbells will formally depart the band following the Cowal Championships.

The two took over the then-struggling Glasgow Skye in 2000 when Pipe-Major Ian Roddick left the band.

Under the Campbell brothers the band regained occasional prizes, with its best finish a second in Grade 2 at the 2009 European Championships at Birmingham, England. Last year Phoenix Honda-Glasgow Skye finished fourth overall in the RSPBA’s Grade 2 Champion of Champions table for aggregate points over the five majors.
