Photos added: Quaich hits Skye with Liddell win
Armadale, Skye, Scotland – June 18, 2010 – Stuart Liddell of Inveraray, Scotland, was the winner of the Donald MacDonald Quaich, an annual piobaireachd competition organized by the Clan Donald Society.
Liddell played “Bodach Na Sligachin,” and was the preferred choice of judge Colin MacLellan against Glenn Brown, Glasgow (“The Mackays’ Banner”), Martin Kessler, Germany (“the Massacre of Glencoe”) and Patrick Molard, Brittany “Too Long in this Condition”).
