Updated: SLOT near-perfect at All-Ireland Championships
Ballina, Ireland – July 3, 2010 – The All-Ireland Championship returned to St. Laurence O’Toole after the Dublin-based band took eight seven out of eight first-place-rankings in the four-band medley and MSR competitions.

Congrats to SLOT. According to the Irish Pipe Band Association website, the Grade 1 MSR was judged by J. Campbell (P); B. MacMahon (P); H. Russell (D); and M. MacKenzie. The Grade 1 Medley was judged by D. Ingram (P); C. Moffett (P); C. Morduant (D); and D. Cardwell (E). Overall, this appears to be a very strong panel with three of the judges having been assigned to the Grade 1 final events at the Worlds this year (Russell; Campbell and Ingram).
