Grade 1 qualifiers confirmed for World’s Final
Glasgow – August 13, 2011 – The last six spots for the Grade 1 Final competitions at the 2011 World Pipe Band Championships were determined after a 13-band MSR qualifier heat.
The judges were John Edgar, I. Wood (piping); S. Steele (drumming); and Malcolm MacKenzie (ensemble).

This result makes it difficult to argue that Maxville should be a qualifier for the Worlds final.
