MacDonald, Lee win at Kinloch Rannoch

Kinloch Rannoch, Scotland – August 19, 2006 – Although the day started sunny and warm as pipers arrived around lunch, the day would turn wet and rainy, forcing sensible people indoors, and leaving the pipers and the athletes to get on with the games. Colin Lee of Burnaby, British Columbia, and Iain MacDonald of Avonlea, Saskatchewan, played well in the rain to capture the firsts in a field of eight pipers. There were no piobaireachd contests.
