  1. Could someone give me an answer please. Willie MacCallum & Gordon Walker are both great pipers, and no offense to the great Willie, but how does his two seconds and no place in H&J beat Gordons two firsts and a fourth? Local favorite?

  2. I was there and it was a great day with very high standards of playing. Wonderful listening – these guys are just so good. Thanks to Kintyre Piping for a nice day and a very well run competetion. No delays between pipers.

  3. My apologies to Willie and the judges. I truly did mean no offense as I have great admiration for all the above. I was guilty of not reading the article correctly or completely. Mea culpa! I’m just a broken down old piper with no credentials except a great love of the pipes. Old enough that I should know to keep my mouth shut until sure of all facts.
