Wilson successfully defends World Solo Drumming title

Glasgow – October 25, 2008 – Barry Wilson of the Grade 1 ScottishPower Pipe Band won his second consecutive RSPBA World Solo Drumming Championship by gaining most aggregate points over a March, Strathspey & Reel and Honrpipe & Jig events. Wilson was third in the MSR and won the HP&J.

  1. Just a minor point – Steven McWhirter was entered under Inverary & Dist and Not SFU. BIG congrats to Barry – hopfully this will prove to the doubters that last year was no fluke just because JK messed up. Well done to all 4 winners.
