The Decatur Piping Competition will take place in conjunction with the Decatur Celtic Festival on May 2, 2026 in Decatur, Texas - just Northwest of Dallas, Texas. The competition will feature solo bagpiping grades I-IV, and a quartet medley competition. Prizes for Quartets are $250,$100,$50 for 1, 2, 3 place. Judges are Pipe Major Robert Richardson and Pipe Major Kenneth Liecthi, both of Glasgow, Scotland. Register today for a fantastic event!

The Final Round of the PPBSO Toronto 2026 Knockout Series includes Solo Piping for A,B and Professional divisions. The Top 6 competitors from each grade will be automatically registered for the Knockout FINAL

The contests for Round 3 of the PPBSO Toronto 2026 Knockout Series includes Solo Piping in the A,B and Professional divisions.

Each contestant will have to play a double MSR (all different minimum four-part tunes) and a Medley, with a total drumming prize pool of £1700 up for grabs. Centre for Contemporary Arts, Glasgow.

19th Annual Balmoral Classic - November 14-16, 2025
Friday 14 Nov., The Pittsburgh Piping Society and Balmoral School of Piping & Drumming co-host an informal gathering at the Pitch on Butler.
Saturday 15 Nov., the US Junior Solo Bagpiping and Snare Drumming Championships will be held in the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus. Piping judges are Bruce Gandy, Lezlie Webster, and Glenna Mackay Johnstone. Snare drumming judges will be Gordon Bell and Miles Bennington.
