The National Piping Centre is collaborating with the National Trust for Scotland to run a new annual Piobaireachd competition. The first event will be held on the 14th of April 2007 in the Drumossie Hotel, near Culloden and this event coincides with the re-dedication of the battlefield. Four invited Pipers will perform tunes associated with the Battle of Culloden and the Jacobite Era. The guest pipers are William McCallum, Angus MacColl,Euan MacCrimmon and Dr Angus MacDonald.
