After 22 years as Pipe Major and 48 years as a piper in the 48th Highlanders of Canada, Chief Warrant Officer Alexander "Sandy" Dewar, MMM, CD is retiring from the Canadian Forces. The 48 highlanders are holding a Regimental Parade to officially recognize his service and appoint a successor, MWO Iain Lang, CD. Parade starts at 8:30 pm. Receptions to follow the parade in the Messes of the Regiment.
