Scottish Power and The House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead will join a stunning cast of 38 champion Highland Dancers to celebrate 60 years of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing, and raise money for Action Duchenne and the MS Scotland. With multiple performances by both bands throughout the show and new and diverse choreography by some of the most successful dance teachers in the world, this promises to be an unforgettable night of entertainment. The Alaskan Scottish Club is pleased to announce that the 30th Annual Alaska Scottish Highland Games will be held at Eagle River Lions Park on Friday and Saturday the 24th and 25th of June 2011. The celebration of 30 years of the Highland games will be a special event not to be missed. We are pleased to feature the Scottish band "Tannahill Weavers" in our celebration of 30 years of the games.

The Mid-Winter Celtic Festival is comprised of a few events over the weekend, including the famous and always-sold-out Mid-Winter Ceilidh. Chieftains' Parade The Chieftain's Parade commences at 10.30am on Saturday 29 May, from the Balbardie Hotel to Meadow Park. Events We are proud to host highland dancing, solo piping, pipe band and heavy athletics competitions, the Cairnpapple Hill Race, as well as offering a great family day out with lots to do for both young and old.
