Swelter at Cambridge: SL78FH survive the heat (MP3 audio)

Cambridge, Ontario – July 19, 2008 – The Cambridge Highland Games often features the hottest weather that southern Ontario can offer and the 2008 rendition was no exception with hazy, muggy 30-plus-degree heat. Except for a few very brief showers, the rain held off for competitors, and the Scottish Lion -78th Fraser Highlanders of Toronto continued their unbeaten streak to win the Grade 1 event.

For the first time ever, the Grade 2 recordings are what a piping judge actually heard walking around the section. Grade 1 recordings are from a stationary position in the audience.
