Toronto Police win Cambridge; Ontario season gets another shake-up (HD videos)
Cambridge, Ontario – July 16, 2011 – The Toronto Police Pipe Band won its first Grade 1 competition since the mid-2000s by taking the medley contest at the annual Cambridge Highland Games. It was the first win since the mid-2000s for the band. Ian K. MacDonald enjoyed a fine day in the Professional solo piping, with three firsts and a second. Drew Duthart……..SUPERB!
Thanks Hoss
I’ve noticed that kind ensemble command from Drew in the past. He single handedly put the band into the Worlds final the last two times they’ve qualified. A MONSTER player…..all you young guys out there….pay attention.
Have to say it was a pleasure to hear Metro Police return to what I consider a natural” idiom yet retain their own stamp of originality and performed with joy. I still have issues with the mid-section but a solid win! Congrats. G”
