Canada Day Swelter At Embro

Embro, Ontario – July 1, 2002 – Ontario’s longest-running Highland games, Embro, were held as always on Canada Day, with this year’s event marked by temperatures in the mid-90s.

There was a smaller than usual turnout for both the solo and band events, with the Professional piping contests having only one competitor.
