Coburn wins Shotts concert tickets!

Of the hundreds of entries to the pipes|drums House of Edgar Shotts & Dykehead concert tickets contest, the one from Richard Coburn of Banbridge, Co. Down, Northern Ireland, was the first correct one opened.

 

For his canny knowledge of Shotts’ history, Richard receives two tickets to “Caledonia,” the band’s concert at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall on Wednesday, August 13th, as part of the World’s Week festivities in Glasgow.

 

Pipe-Major Robert Mathieson personally provided the skill-testing questions that so many hyper-intelligent pipes|drums readers had no trouble answering correctly.

Admission for spectators is absolutely free, and entering a team of four to compete for the £250 cash first-prize. Second-prize is £100, and £50 goes to the third-place team.
