Colquhoun laid up for two months with broken pelvis

Craig Colquhoun, former bass drummer with the 78th Fraser Highlanders and three-time winner of the Best Section award at the World Pipe Band Championships, suffered a pelvis broken in two places after falling from a roof at his home in Tiverton, Ontario.

Colquhoun will reportedly spend the next two months in hospital.

Known to his freinds as “Hoss,” Colquhoun is the founder of Hosbilt Drums, which he sold to Premier Percussion in 2002. He left the 78th Fraser Highlanders after the 2003 season to dedicate more time to his family.

He is a patient at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine Site, 43 Queen Street, Kincardine, ON N2Z 2Z2 Canada.
