Craig Stewart Takes Leading Drummer Post at Toronto Police

The Toronto Police Pipe Band has revealed that Craig Stewart has taken on the position of leading drummer. Stewart replaces Jeremy Keddy, who departed immediately following the World Championships.

Stewart has held leading drummer positions with several top bands, including, for many years, the Peel Regional Police and Toronto & District in Grade 1, and for the last few years the Niagara Police in Grade 2.

Alan Savage, who led the Toronto Police drum section for several years until the 2003 season, but continued to play with the band, also recently announced that he was leaving.
