Donald MacDonald Quaich goes to Shedden

Armadale, Skye, Scotland – June 10, 2005 – The Donald MacDonald Quaich for piobaireachd was won by Stuart Shedden of Glasgow, who played “The Groat” in the invitational contest for pipers graded A in piobaireachd by the Competing Pipers Association.

Others competing were Douglas Murray, Fife, “The Gathering of the MacDonalds at Clanranald,” Euan MacCrimmon, Skye, “The Rout of Glenfruin,” and Niall Stewart, “Too Long in this Condition.”

The event was judged by Jack Taylor and sponsord by Glenfiddich.
