Field-Marshal Montogomery to don new kit at Malahide

The four-time World Champions Field-Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band will unveil a completely new uniform this Saturday at Malahide, the band’s sponsorship with the St. Kilda Group showing results.

According to sources with FMM, the band will be wearing the “Piper Range” of Highland wear developed by the St. Kilda Group. The new parts of the uniform include jacket and Waistcoat, brogues, socks, sporran, and bagcover – all under the “Piper” brand.

FMM pipers and drummers will also be using new “Piper Safe” ear protectors. According to the St. Kilda Group, the new products are specifically for pipe bands, “designed to last the test of time and improve presentation.”

Field-Marshal’s sponsorship deal with St. Kilda was announced in February of this year and is valued at £50,000 over three years.
