Final CPA Piobaireachd Event At Blairgowrie

Blairgowrie, Scotland – Sweptember 8, 2002 – The sixth and final Competing Pipers Association piobaireachd competition for pipers graded B and C by the CPA took place here today, with Brendon Eade of Inverness winning the event. Ten played – a smaller entry than usual because the contest followed both Inverness and Braemar.

The senior events saw very few competitors and only three in the piobaireachd event. Allan Russell of Kelty won the contest.
