Fredericton on top of Halifax

Halifax, Nova Scotia – July 9, 2005 – The 32nd annual Halifax Highland Gathering was the second outdoor contest for the Canadian Maritimes. Bruce Gandy of Halifax was the overall winner in the professional solo piping, and the Fredericton Society of St. Andrew Pipe Band won both the MSR and medley events in Grade 2. The 78th Highlanders Halifax Citadel were the only band in Grade 1. Sean Morton was the professional drummer of the day.
