Large entry at Antigonish

Antigonish, Nova Scotia – July 16-17, 2005 – A larger than average entry and large crowds descended on the Antigonish Highland Games and the Nova Scotia Pipe Band Championship to see Fredericton Society of St. Andrew win both Grade 2 contests and Bruce Gandy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, take the overall title in the professional solo piping. The 78th Highlanders (Halifax) were the only Grade 1 band to attend.
