Linlithgow & District bares (almost) all in “cheeky” calendar

The Linlithgow & District Pipe Band of Linlithgow, Scotland, has raised a few eyebrows in its attempt to raise money for the 2005 season by creating “The Cheeky Guys and Girls of Linlithgow & District Pipe Band” calendar.

According to the band, the calendar features band members Ross Anderson, Davie Stephenson, Grant MacGregor, Debbie Lafferty, Alana Maxwell, Laura Fairley and Lorna Heggie in various states of undress, “getting their kilt off in the name of fund raising.”

The band stresses that all of the photos are tasteful, and the models are above the legal age of consent and were willing participants. Along with a picture, each month includes a day-planner and a listing of the 2005 RSPBA pipe band championships.

Linlithgow & District was upgraded to Grade 3 after the band captured the Scottish and British championships and the Champion of Champions award for Grade 4. A new feeder band has recently been launched.
