McLuckie rolls to South African Solo Drumming Championship

Bedfordview, South Africa – October 13, 2007 – The Pipe Band Association of South Africa’s African Solo Drumming Championships were held at St. Benedict’s College and Gareth McLuckie took home the big prize of the day. McLuckie was a member of the House of Edgar-Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band in 2005 and ’06. Second-place winner Gary Potter plays with the ScottishPower Pipe Band, but lives in South Africa.
