On the road with Pipes & Sticks on Route 66: Day 6

Leaving Santa Rosa we are climbing and when we stop for petrol at Clines Corner, and I can feel the thin air a bit as I breathe a bit different for just a few seconds. I hadn’t realized why at the time. Wonder how the pipes will be impacted and how the blowing will be affected. A new experience for me.

Before Albuquerque, we find a ghost town called Barton, we stop to see an old Ford Model A that would have taken people west during the Dust Bowl and Depression, and a mobile jail, which was a great idea. It apparently was used to capture the Dawson Gang.
