Piper featured on NHL All-Star goalie helmet
A custom-designed helmet that will be used in the National Hockey League’s 2007 All-Star game features the image of a piper as part of a montage that pays tribute to Canadian soldiers currently serving in Afghanistan.
The mask was designed and created by sports artist David Arrigo, who works out of London, Ontario. He designed the mask for Mark Wilson, a soldier from London who was killed in a road-side bomb attack. The piper is featured on the left side of the mask, which also presents a soldier pinning a poppy on a wreath.
The NHL All-Star game will be held in Dallas on January 24. The mask will be auctioned after the game, with the money going to the families of fallen troops.

Brill. You would never see something like this here in Scotland. Imagine Rangers or the Scotland side doing something to include piping. Never happen.
Anyone else think the piper kind of looks like George Campbell?
