Rain, cold don’t deter Inverness games competitors

Inverness, Scotland – July 24, 2004 – As has been the case with most Scottish games this summer, the Inverness Highland Games were hit by high winds and rain. Nonetheless, 16 senior pipers turned out for the solo events, and some competitors actually played inside the judges’ tents when conditions turn into a “mini-monsoon,” according to one attendee.
