Roddy, Willie, Alasdair tops at MacLeod Memorial

Stornoway, Lewis, Scotland – April 7, 2006 – Alasdair Gillies of Pittsburgh had the best overall day at the annual Donald MacLeod Memorial Invitational Solo Piping Competition held at MacLeod’s native Isle of Lewis in the Scottish Hebrides. Roddy MacLeod, Glasgow, won the Piobaireachd and received the championship trophy based on the Piobaireachd and MSR. Willie McCallum, Bearsden, Scotland, took the MSR.
