Glasgow Skye is one of Scotland’s oldest civilian  pipe bands, and has competed at the Grade 1 level in the past. The band is also well known for promoting the annual “Pre-World’s Concert” on the Wednesday preceding the World Pipe Band Championships. This year’s concert features the Grade 1 St. Laurence O’Toole Pipe Band of Dublin. According to sources there are fewer than 200 tickets remaining for the show.
