Updated: James P. Troy sweeps BC Annual Gathering events

Vancouver – March 21-22, 2008 – James P. Troy of Victoria, British Columbia, (pictured right) pulled off a rare feat by winning all three Professional solo piping events at the British Columbia Pipers Associations’ Annual Gathering, the 76th year of the competition.   1. Well done J.P. A rare feat indeed. I’m bringing my daughter Annie out to Victoria in July for the Canadian Dancing Championships. For sure we’re going to drink as much of the water out there as possible. (There must me something in it!) Can’t wait for the news someday when you win all of the Piping and the Drumming events!   2. Way to go James. I was watching your Dad in the audience on Saturday and I don’t think I have ever seen a more prouder parent in all my life. You truly are a talented young man, and have many more day’s like this ahead of you. If you read this say hi to your dad for me I didn’t get a chance to speak to him on Sat.
