(Updated) Shotts: Cowal Champions

Dunoon, Scotland – August 27, 2005 – House of Edgar-Shotts & Dykehead won the Cowal Championship, its third major victory of the year, thus securing the 2005 Champion of Champions title. The band also secured the Champion of Champions title in drumming. St. Laurence O’Toole fell out of the top-six list in a major for the first time this year.

In Grade 2, Drambuie-Kirkliston won and also brought in the overall champions title, clearing the way for the band’s inevitable move to Grade 1.
