Vale prevails at Dunbar

Dunbar, Scotland – May 13, 2006 – Robert Wiseman Dairies-Vale of Atholl won the Grade 1 contest and Torphichen & Bathgate took Grade 2 at the first 2006 competition for each band.

Grade 1
1st Robert Wiseman Dairies-Vale of Atholl
2nd Clan Gregor
3rd Lothian & Borders Police
Drumming: Vale of Atholl

Grade 2
1st Torphichen & Bathgate
2nd Lomond & Clyde
3rd Bucksburn & District
Drumming: Torphichen

Both grades had several bands that entered but did not appear, including, in Grade 1, Dysart & Dundonald, and 52nd Lowland in Grade 2.
